South of France...

Nice & Menton have been on my bucketlist for so long so this trip was SOO exciting for me!!
I grabbed my girlfriend and we were off!
We flew into Nice airport which is about a 45 minute drive to Menton along the coast. We pulled up to the most stunning place we had ever seen (see photo above OMG) and we were like are we at the right place??

This location was within walking distance from all the food and shops, about a 15 min walk to downtown Menton as well. We had dinner on the water at one of the many restaurants you can walk to, its too easy to find an amazing place to eat (honestly they are all good you can't go wrong)
We went into town one day and wanted to get pizza, we stopped at Euro Pizza, once we ordered the chef came out and grabbed us and made us make our own pizza!! It was such a fun experience and one I will remember for the rest of my life!

One thing I really loved about this trip was how NICE all the people here were, obviously I don't speak any French, and we tried our best to communicate, but everyone here was so nice and patient with us when we were trying to talk to them, usually I get really intimidated in foreign countries when I don't know the language, but here everyone was so understanding and helpful.

Pit Stop in Monaco!

Its about a 20 mine drive from Menton to Monaco (halfway to Nice) so we had to check it out. Right when we crossed the border, a police man pulled us over, we were freaking out and he didn't speak any English, so he asked for our papers and wrote all our information down. Later that day we asked someone what that was about and since Monaco is it's own country they check people at the border for protection, so crazy!
The Montecarlo casino is the main attraction here in Monaco, its stunning!! Also there are all the boujee stores for shopping in this little country so we shopped til we dropped and grabbed lunch at Chicken & Pizza. We literally ate on the floor because since it was a Sunday no other food was open haha.
I highly recommend stopping in Monaco it was so fun and easy to navigate!

Last Stop Nice!

When I was looking for a place to stay in Nice, I didn't really know where to look so I just based it off how pretty the place was and bonus if its by the water. We pulled up to our house and again didn't believe it was the place we booked. It was a massive house with its own private beach, two gates to get into the driveway (yay safe) and the train was literally right behind the house so getting around was easy and we didn't even use the car the rest of the trip.
Multiple balconies and an insane ocean view made my heart very happy. After staying in the city for the first half of the trip, it was nice to have some solitude and to hear the waves crashing.

Literally a 2 minute walk to the train and a 19 min ride takes you into Nice village center. It drops you off about a 10 minute walk to the shopping and food, SO EASY! We walked around and I felt pretty safe again, I still watched my bags and was aware of my surroundings but after what happened last year in Paris, this was a much different experience!
I also found a photo on instagram of the Russian Orthodox Cathedral, so that was one thing I HAD to do before we left, it was sooo beautiful and we made sure to go very early in the morning to avoid any crowds or being in the way of people trying to go to church.
I have nothing but good things to stay about the coast of France, its as everything I dreamed of, so stunning and surreal, the people were so nice, I felt like I had lived there my whole life! I want to go back with Blake ASAP!!

Xoxo
